I am recently graduated with my Master of Arts in Counseling at CACREP accredited Western Seminary in Portland, working towards LMHC licensure. Previously, I spent six years working with local Christian nonprofits, three years working with international students and immigrants, and two years abroad in the corporate sector in South Korea. Having grown up in the Northwest, I have a proclivity for the outdoors ideally in the sunshine. I enjoy exploring great eateries, spending time with friends and church community, exercise, music, and finding my next great read.
Completing my degree at a seminary was an important decision because I am passionate about balancing a grace-based integration of theology and therapy. I have a person-centered approach that incorporates a Christian worldview with cognitive, clinically focused methods. Mental health issues have been on the rise the last few years and whether you are dealing with anxiety, depression, life transition, boundaries, relational issues, trauma, or any other obstacle that requires a safe space to process, I would be honored to walk alongside you.

Kayla is a recent graduate of Liberty University completing her Masters in Psychology. Kayla, additionally has a second Master of Science in psychology fromNorthern Michigan University. Her clinical perspective approach to working with individuals, teens, marriages, anxiety, depression, etc is solution focused and person centered. Kayla is a follower of Christ and her Christian faith shapes her work as a counselor.
